It our time to shine - and we shone!

They say that time flies when you having fun and that'll be why Term 3 flew by!  The last week, often a time where schools are winding down, was an action packed time where our students launched 'Travel Week' at the beginning of the week and proceeded to spend two days travelling the world!  These two days were followed by our students showcasing their innovations on traditional performances from countries they have been stuyding over the term.  Our kapa haka group also revealed our school-wide haka that had been put together with the help of wonderful whanau and friends of the school.  It was one of the most special moments I have ever experienced in my time at this school.   We will showcase this on a DVD  along with all the other performances and this will be available for everyone in the first week of Term 4.  The most wonderful thing about seeing how our students applied all that they had learnt in the final week at school was to see the confidence and the joy of what it means to perform.  A huge thank you to the wonderful staff and students who give it all to create an environment where learning is dynamic, contemporary and challenging.

I can't wait to see what Term 4 has up it's sleeve...
