Terrific Term 4

Hi All,

Well Term 3 has passed and we are already into Term 4!

Term 4 is shaping up to be a busy but exciting term with most of Room 18 heading to camp in week 2 and everyone off to technology in week 5. Other than that we are focussing on building our number knowledge in maths and our vocabulary knowledge in reading and writing.
Our inquiry topic this term is about "What makes a great leader" and we will be holding our very own school election at the end of the term to elect our school leaders for 2012.

On that note it would be fantastic if you could encourage your child to read the newspaper, watch the news and listen to the radio to find out information about the election. A great way to incoporate maths would be if your child could follow the pre-election polls for the popularity of the major political parties.
