My name is Hayden John Cleere, I have been working as a teacher at Sylvia Park School since July 2009 as a year 4 and 5 teacher. Sylvia Park School has been an amazing school to start my Career and i hope to have many more years in my position here!

Hope you have all had a great start to 2011 aka 200 and heaven. Since last year I have moved two classes over and I am now in the dazzling and scrumptious room 14(even if we are the Number 1 room)!

Term 3 for "the Wonderful Room 12"

Term 3 has seen 3 more students join our grace's in Room 12! 2 of these pupils have even come from Australia to join us and have already made their presense felt.

Our Inquiry question for this term is "Have you got what it takes to take on the challenge???"

2010 has been an AWESOME year in room 12. Students have been concentrating specifically on three areas of our learning...

Numeracy (Maths)

Literacy (Reading and Writing)

Inquiry (Topic)

All students have made gains in Literacy so far this year.  Our asTTle reading results for term two show an average increase of 13 points! It may not sound like much, but we have looked back at what we need to improve on and we hope to see an even greater gain next term!
