Fakaalofa lahi atu SPS,
Ko au ko Tessa Leona. I have been with the SPS whānau for 10 years where I started my teaching career in the junior school. After I finished my practicum here, I never left! Over the years I have led in many different roles at SPS and I am currently teaching Y4-6 in Room 24.
I am extremely excited to begin this new role and be the champion for our school aspiration, Ngā Tuapapa o te Ako! I am looking forward to working with whānau to lead our new Mutukaroa programme for year 4 and above. I will continue to lead assessment across the school as well as conduct strategies for well-being and lead literacy. I am going to be working in the office during Term 3 and will be back in the classroom for Term 4. I am looking forward to working with students and whānau across the school as well as see all of our strategic goals continue to come to life! Feel free to pop into Room 24 if you have any questions or for a chat!
